There are lots of exciting things happening with digital preservation in archives these days. Of course, not nearly enough work to keep up with the amount of materials entering permanent collections, but we seem to be starting.

I had the pleasure of moderating two talks last week at the American Institute for Conservation’s Annual Meeting for the Electronic Media Group on Digital Archaeology (hopefully coming to a post-prints publication by this winter!), but I suspect that we’ll be seeing a lot more of these talks and sessions in the near future.
